Historic board retains officers
The Boca Grande Historic Preservation Board met Wednesday, March 11 for the election of officers and to discuss three renovation projects within the historical district.
The board voted to retain all previous officers, which are Chairman Becky Seale Paterson and Vice-Chairman Billy Caldwell.
Approved at the meeting was a certificate of appropriateness for the owner of 351 Gilchrist Avenue to rehabilitate an existing guest house, to construct a carport and to install a trellis.
The board also approved an addition to the main house and garage at 1301 13th St. W., as well as new fencing and minor rehabilitation work to be performed at 801 Palm Avenue.
